Membership Forum...Growing!

Hello BHW,

I have recently set up a forum which provides certain sporting fixtures in FULL HD to download, now I have only been doing 2 YT videos a week and have only done 2 and already have 50 members on the forum, so things are looking good!

I am wondering, what is the best way to "Monatize" this as currently it is, once registered, you can access all information. Should I just collect all the emails and then try an email thing?

Emails is one, but I actually use BHW as inspiration for my forum. Place some nice ads and banners related to your niche around the forum without making it look like an ad farm.

BHW must make a killing with these ads. I know I bought a few things

Paid membership is something you look into if you can get over 5k members. And even then only if they are active. If you start asking them for money when your community is still growing, you will shoot yourself in the foot.

Grow it until you feel the users "need" your site. Then you can start the big bucks. If you have a large community, I'd even give the biggest and most reputable posters (50 or so) free memberships as it would entice the newbies to sign up.

You should follow BHW model

Make a separate section for Elites only

Member have to pay to get access to that section

You will make a killing using that.

The VIP section is always a good idea for forums, and you will see a lot more people buying it when more people join. Usually they are a huge success if you know how to do this effectively.
