I've got good traffic on a site and am pretty sure that I can do well with podcasts and/or newsletters. What I'd like to do is publish my current copies of, say, the podcasts and then archive them. Then I'd like for people to have to pay via a subscription of some sort to see the archived podcasts via Paypal.

Also, I do NOT want to use Wordpress or Joomla.

Is there a way to do this? Is this handled via scripting or do third party platforms usually handle it?

I'm already using E-Junkie for ebook sales, but that's a little different animal. I was thinking more of a subscription service where the user then gets unlimited access to everything in the protected area.

Any help is much appreciated.

Of course there is a way to do this. :)
Why you don't want to use Joomla or WP?

Please explain more thoroughly. You want to serve copies of podcasts on pre-existing site or do you want to build a new one and redirect traffic from the existing one?

You can use the Wordpress for that and there are lots of plugin out for the membership which helps you to collect the payment and maintain the membership.. here you can find a nulled version for that.

Just curious as to why you are opposed to using WP for a subscription site? I've found WP to be the simplest platform for creating profitable, scalable, and lasting membership sites (of course with the help of DAP or another membership platform of your choosing). You can always use DAP, aMember, etc. apart from WordPress, but with seamless WP integration for either it's always been the logical option for me to use them together.
