Meeting Potential Big Client Need Advice

I have a business mentor who I have known for just over a month and he runs an accountants. It is the biggest one in my town but they dont have a website just the url with a blank page and they use it for emails.

Now I cant find them for accountants townname or accountant town name as well they dont have a site but the first 4 results are all from the same opposition accountants firm.

Ive done some research and these sites although one is an EMD only have 50 backlinks each and arnt optimised very well onpage other then the obvious emd domain.

I know for a fact I can beat these guys. This accountant potential client also doesnt have google places where the opposition does.

Having this guy as a client would serious boost my credibility hugely and it would actually be worth paying this guy to be my client!. Note that im not of course haha.

Now I want to go in when i meet this guy and just wow his socks off. I own about 20 local business directories that I can also advertise him on for free. I also would tell him I can give him google maps listings, bing maps, yahoo maps and even give him a mobile version of his site. I would make a nice wordpress site by the way for the site.

I would also show him his competitors on my ipad and explain that SEO is the present not the future and these guys are drinking his coffee by being in the top 4 results. I would then explain I can get his site in the top 3 for about 10 different local towns quite easily.

How much could I charge for this package? and what else have I missed I can chuck in?.

personally to catch a big fish i would offer to rank his site for free ( as you dont usually need an EDM to outrank most companies locally ). Then charge a set monthly fee after ranking on set keywords agreed.

I would also set up google places after you have agreed - and make sure the google card gets sent to you at their address.

What sort of charge should I be looking at? Ive never really done this for clients of this size. I will offer the initial ranking for free but will charge for the site.

I would recommend first package fee of 2k-$5k and then recurring monthly fee of minimum $1k.

I would not get paid that much. Ive noticed that in my area most people with businesses are hesitant to pay 100+.. as they see it as something that they dont need.

You should definitely be charging more than $100. They need it they just don't realize it yet.
