Medium domain names: tier 1 or 2

Actually took around 10 domains with Ahrefs rank around 40 and Rd around 30-50, nothing great
And was thinking, with current updates, not is it better to use them as tier 2 to current pbns ?

You obviously could and if they are decent then you could even use as tier 1.

If they are good and clean, then it's a waste of resources to use them as tier 2. Point them directly to money site.
