Medium as parasite, no longer working?

Hey guys, I'm trying medium as parasite, but for low competition niche my post go in second page on Google. Medium is died for parasite? I'm trying to find expand my parasite plan, but seems medium is no longer good for ranking on google.
Tips? Suggestions?

They don't index like before.

Hardly 1-2 in every 20 posts only index..

Explore other parasites. I am not going to name them and get those saturated. But there are a few random ones no one expected. Reverse engineer your competition

My posts get indexed, but not rank
 
yeah, medium’s kinda faded. try Quora, LinkedIn, or aged domains

Yes they hardly these days. You are lucky they get indexed atleast.

Lot of the ones we did the past that was on top 5 in page 1 have gone to page 5,6.

We noticed this start to happen a couple months ago.

Explore other parasites and if you are into churn and burn(BH) explore PDF on edu sites.

When a parasite get spammed heavily the whole domain tanks.Its best to keep them secret

I guess you came in a bit late. It isn't working, stopped a while ago.
 
Google is reducing its preference for general parasitic content, so Medium isn't what it once was. Try Google Sites, LinkedIn articles, or even Notion pages. Additionally, enhance your Medium content with internal engagement and high-quality tier 2 connections. Parasite SEO is still effective; it simply needs to be used more strategically.
 
yes, medium articles ranks tanked. I've over 10 accounts on medium. In start of 2024, the articles were ranking on page 1 or 2 in google (and never on bing), but now (after google March core update 2025) all pages gone down to page 8 or 9. (still bing refuses to rank medium)
 
So, we need to find better parasite I think :D
 
Ahrefs traffic graphs seem to indicate that Medium is still growing traffic-wise, no sharp drop-offs as with other hit parasites. But yeah anecdotally I've not seen Medium parasites show up for anything remotely competitive.
 
No it's not as soon as I post product reviews it treats my accounts like it's committing some bank robbery or something. Hahaha.
 
Medium isn’t dead, but it’s less effective than before due to Google’s recent updates. Try combining it with other strong parasites like Quora, or Reddit, and boost with tiered backlinks for better results.
 
You're right, it's really gone to shit, it can't be done anymore.
 
Medium is a bad parasite nowadays, but you succeeded about indexing it. If you care enough, you can build some links to try to reach the first page. If not, move on to other parasites.

How many of each can i do? does it help to create like 10x Google sites, or 1 is enough? same with tumblr etc etc...i have a high competiton niche and just need tips on how to grow it alot.
