I hadn't used my Mediatraffic account since last year, so earlier this month I decided to run some PPV with it and I noticed that they now limit the size of all URLs to 40 characters, and simply truncate the URLs. Do Zango and TV truncate URLs as well?

maybe you can try to make a page to 100% iframe your whole site and make your url short??

I was referring to keyword target URLs. For example, if you are targeting a page on Yah00 answers and the url is:

hxxp://answers.yah00.com/question/index?qid=20090419xxxxxxxxxx

Mediatraffic will truncate it to:

hxxp://answers.yah00.com/question/index?qid=200

The lesson here is not target any urls from Yah00 answers because the query ID of ALL pages begins with "200" and you'll get a massive amount of untargeted page views.

yahoo answer will get you very minimal traffic. Think about it, there are only so many install for these ppv network, and the chance of people to visit one particular answer page is slim.

Unless your experience show otherwise?

I did not get too much traffic from yahoo answers, I only targeted it because it was on the first page of the search engines for a keyword I was targeting.

I have a zango account. Yes, they truncate URLs too. I don't remember how many characters you can get before it's truncated.
