Hey guys,

I have been doing youtube and content locking, but my accounts keep getting banned and I want to try the method where you link to mediafire and password protect the file, so the user has to go to a website and complete a survey to get the password. When I go to sign up with mediafire I am prompted to choose between free pro and business plans. I want to use the free plan but will that be able to do the things I need it to? Can people download my file if I am on the free plan?

thanks

Yes, they can still download it, besides mediafire there are also other great filehost that you use like sendspace and zippyshare.com

Compettitors is flaging your video..all though it should have only to delete your video not account but mediafire link wont help you at all because it isn't that youtube is flaging your videos its compettition!

thanks for the feedback everyone. Right now my conversion rate with my content locker is pretty bad. Do you think using the mediafire + password method will help me to earn more money?

if you upload crack or illegal files to mediafire so it will ban you as well :P

I never get anywhere with these media fire links so usually dont bother with them. I do the surveys and get asked to do another...and another....until 10 minutes later I get pissed off and log off.

So does that mean the user has opted for their downloaders to do this? Isnt that sheer greed? ....or an excellent marketing plan. Hmmmmm.

So if mediafire will ban you for illegal files, what if we just say its a certain file but then after they put in the password its just some link to another website or something. I know it would be shady but its blackhat so whatever

yeah or you could just name the file you upload something like studyguide.

password protect file will earn less that after content locker download

so the general consensus is that monetizing with the mediafire+password method will earn me less than just using a content locker, right?
