I have been using Mediafire for a while but I cannot encrypt my files because it requires a membership, is Dropbox a good alternative? Will I get decreased traffic or increased?

use mega.co.nz

Sorry, I'm only using either Dropbox or Mediafire. Is dropbox a good alternative? Or should I just stick with Mediafire?

Use mega.co.nz...

Or if you really want too use those 2 for some weird reason you thought of, DropBox is the obvious answer. No advertisements on the download page plus a way cleaner look...

Oh and about this "Will I get decreased traffic or increased?" your traffic will stay the exact same no matter which download service you use. That doesn't change your traffic.

use mega
dropbox will ban you if you pass monthly traffic limit
mediafire delete files fast

I'm using Dropbox, because Mediafire deleted my files all the time. :)

Dropbox is better, mediafire got kinda strict now with pass protected files

Personally I find Dropbox better due to the fact that I find it easy to use, however I also use Google Drive.

Dropbox all the way! :)

Dropboxxxxx =]] . Its Easy to use and share and no crapy ads

Cheers,
Nik

Use Mega.co.nz if you want to be on safer side.

It encrypts your files in such a way that even the website owner and the government agencies can't see the files what you have stored on their server.

+1 for dropbox but mega conz is better in the longrun

Amazon Cloud Drive is another pretty good one, you get 5GBs of storage free and just like Dropbox you can load your files right from your desktop. And I don't think they're as strict with bandwidth usage like Dropbox is.
