Media Buying Section on the Forum?

Hi BHW upper ups...

We have sections for PPC and PPV, but I do think we should have a section directed towards Media Buying, buying direct from sites, RTBs, display ad blocks. What works, what doesn't.

There is so much involved with frequencies, split testing, banner blindness, negotiation strategies, leverage, research, etc. Bottom line is there is so much information that involves this business and as PPC costs are on the rise and CPM prices are on the fall.... if you know what you are doing you can take advantage of this form of paid traffic for great profit.

If this request is granted one day I will attest to ensure there is quality information to kick start it off...

Just my thoughts... anyone second it?

i think it's a good idea. the closest thing we have to something like this right now is the "general ppc discussion" section, which doesn't really represent media buys very well.

if a dedicated section does get created, i'll manually populate with all the current media buy related threads.

I agree with the others ! This would be a really intersting section.
It seems to be more and more used as people now know they dont need 100,000 to start doing it.

I feel that the PPC section is mainly about $100 coupons, getting fake adwords accounts, and minimal on the tactics.

Media Buying in its own is a form of traffic not a "method" so it would bring a great deal of discussion to the forum.

It would be great! I'm a newbie when it comes to media buying. Just recently started promoting CB products with little success but learned a lot.
