Mechanical or Membrane Keyboard

Though I hate the apple mouse I must say that my apple keyboard is still doing good after about 6 years. I do all my business typing, rarely go on calls. loads of emails too. I had a mechanical keyboard before but the noise it was making was getting into my head. So I'd recommend the apple keyboard.

What I've been doing lately is going for entry level logitechs. They're great kbs and last forever, even the cheapest ones.

Got the entry level Dell KB, it feels like my laptop in terms of feel. A good noglestic feel, i like

you should check some Roccat Arvo keyboards with customize macros ( I use some macros for Copy and Paste )

Been used 5 mechanical keyboards and have been sticking with Filco Majestouch Convertible 2 for a few years now.
The build quality is super good.
Try it if you have a chance. You will never regret!

I use a mechanical keyboard called the Razer BlackWidow TE. However, my previous keyboard was a Razer Synpase, a membrane keyboard, and it was surprisingly good. Not quite as good as a mechanical, but much better than any other membrane I've used.

I bought a Corsair k95 and it's been working well for more than 1.5 years now. I had some problem with Logitech though, it went dead within a year. This Corsair keyboard is working fine for me, make sure to buy from some authentic source this time in order to claim your warranty if anything breaks.

I prefer chicklet keyboard for long term usage. It's noiseless and easy to use.

I would agree I got mouse of them over 5 years ago but still runs perfect even after I dropped it a few times.

It's the best I've ever purchased. It's lightweight, and extremely comfortable. Developers at the company of my last internship recommended this to me, and it's amazing.

Thanks for sharing that looks fantastic and pretty cheap as well. I have a keyboard like that but without mouse parts added on it.

I used to have a mechanical one a couple months back, and got a WPM of about 75.

Now, I've switched to membrane, because I can type much faster on it, WPM of 95+

I admit, membrane doesn't feel as nice, but I can type faster, and therefore get more stuff done.

I bought one of their cheapest mice just for a quick replacement and it's lasted 3 years now. Logitech rules.

I would agree this is why I am still really confused when people tell me things like this"Hi I bought my keyboard for $2000 or $200 and I am thinking are you crazy or what?"

I don't like mechanical keyboards, maybe I'm a PC boomer and I have raised typing on membrane keyboards. I used the mechanical keyboard for like 2 years, glad I changed back to the membrane.

IF you have purchased a costly one and expected it will last long then the thinking is wrong in 2021. Had many experiences about high cost products and average cost.
Get a DELL keyboard - flat keys and you will feel good. No fancy RGB lights no extra drama. Plug in and use as much as you want.

I never purchased it thinking it was going to last.
It was something I purchased awhile back and I was content with it.

Funny enough, that's the same keyboard I purchased just a few hours ago.
