Not to create a huge thread bump but a member of BHW that knows me had sent me a link to this thread... He wanted my thoughts and views on binary options... I've traded plenty of them and have made money so I figured I'd share them with the rest of you.
The information below is for educational use. Always invest at your own risk...

With that said, there's "easy money" to be made via binary options when you take emotions out and use proven money management techniques.
Binary options, for those that are late to this thread, are basically you deciding if your chosen option will INCREASE or DECREASE. That is all... Nothing more complex than that. One could and should view it as a 50/50 split which is basically a gamble; however, there are some people that would say charts and strategies give you an edge... Then again, there are strategies to blackjack, poker, craps, etc... That doesn't necessarily mean you will always win. Plus, you are limited to a time-frame. Therefore, I consider binary options to be a gamble. Again, that's just me.
With that said, and without going to far into this, you have to think of binary options like a coin toss. Take the charts, emotions, colors and everything out of the picture. It's 50/50 take it or leave it. For someone good at math, it's actually easy to leverage this probability with a simple money management technique.
Because the odds are 50/50, you will eventually break even in time. Therefore, you have to think about your initial investment. For example... Let's say you have $1,000 to invest. You should never "bet" $500 (50% of the investment) or even $100 (10% of the investment). It depends how risk adverse you are. IMO, I would start with $50 bets. This means, you will have a
total of 20 plays to "break even."
The basic strategy to this is....
1. IF you get a bunch of losses at the start, you'll have enough remaining to win and get your money back to hopefully break even. If you lose a bunch at the start and STOP or run out of money, then you lose everything and you're out of luck.
2. IF you get a bunch of wins at the start, then it's wise to STOP at the first loss. If you continue to play then, due to the laws of probability, you will continue to lose and break even or lose everything.
3. IF you get a win, loss, win, loss, loss, win, win, etc... Then it you would be advised to play the entire 20 rounds to hopefully break even or profit, though you can still lose it all.
The best situation is always #2.
Most people fail to realize these probabilities and act on emotions - it's just 50/50!
Test Above Strategy:
To test out the strategy above, go to -
http://www.random.org/coins/?num=20&cur=60-usd.0025c-ct . On this website, you can pretend the 20 coins are $50 bets. You'll see how you basically break-even over multiple spins. Remember... Hot streaks or patterns are BS. There is no way to know 100% if it's going to be heads or tails. Time and money management are your best friends
Lastly, there are some advantages of having charts and patterns... I just wanted to show that they can also be played by just choosing "INCREASE" every single time, without deviating!
