.me or .us Domains?

    Hi all

    Starting up Micro Niche Sites, this particular niche only had EMD for .us and .me - it will be mainly directed at the US, but UK rankings would work too. Is it better to go with the .me?

    Or shall I put dashes in the URL? Or even make the domain plural?

    Everyone else seems to be preferring com/net/org domains only. That might be for the reason that they rank faster/better

    For seo, us would be better for U.S. traffic. Me is the Montenegro cc-tld. Best would be to avoid both for a weaker generic tld. I'd avoid both, their registration costs are steep after the first year are they not?

    Found this by searching for the same question. I've heard that .US really gives no help to the US searches.
