Me again! Negative results after ARM usage

As some here who have been reading my posts might know I have been struggling with a competitive keyword for many months, I recently purchased AMR and have been scraping and building a good list of article sites to post to, I purchased a batch of five articles and span them by hand and did a huge blast over the past few days to buffer sites and a few blasts to the money site (domain is old enough) ?I now have 1000s of live articles, on top of that my Senuke links have been coming through and I have been using the drippable trial for a few hundred profile links etc, I also spend a lot of time indexing the links, creating RSS feeds, pinging them across multiple services.

The result? I have lost 13 places and have slipped back to page 3, my link numbers increase my SERPS drop. I put this down to link quality?

I am starting to learn the hard way that quality over quantity is the key in competitive niches, so my question back to you guys is how do you go about finding quality links? I was thinking about scraping high PR forums and doing posts and profiles by hand but that just seems like more spam to me, there must be a better way?

That's weird, my site seems to love AMR. I've diversified my links across all avenues possible. Wouldn't hurt to think quality links will help, I like the idea of blog commenting too. Also Don't rely on just AMR to do the trick... It's helped me greatly in my strategy but you're going to need a lot more firepower than that. Best of luck

Don't forget you could be doing a dance from the new links.. sometimes it can take a few days to a few weeks to settle, and usually you will always rank higher.

• Investment in bookmarking, forum profiles (both automated and by hand)
• Huge social network campaign
• Manual forum posting and blog commenting campaign

Still going down, not up, it is a big black hole of cash lol

I expect this is the case, but a drop of 13 places on a dance? I would expect to drop right out of the mix.

yes mate this will be the case,a drop of 13 places is normal nothing to worry about it,eventually you will come out stronger

I don't use AMR anymore.

I've sometimes seen keywords jump as far as 20 pages to return a week later better than ever. I would leave it at least 3-4 weeks before deciding whether it's a dance or a drop. You may also find your site may stick where it is for a week or a few days, then move up.

It after a month nothing has happened/you haven't come back, take a look at what you have done or what else could be impacting your serps.

Thanks for the advice guys, I will keep building links then - I have three more AMR runs to do across the weekend with some new content, might buy a social bookmark blast on fiverr to get some diversity in there while I am doing it.

Give it some time, since you suddenly increased the number of links you might be witnessing the Google dance. It probably might go back to the previous ranking.

What I would like to know is that the developer of AMR is also a member of this community and he never but never comments on these issues.

So, did you recover?
