Maybe a handy tip for a semi-autoblog

I am running a news site and wanted to use the power of wp-robot for it.

What I do now:

- get rss f33d from several news sites
- process each f33d through the script I got from fivefilters d0t org so that those feeds will get it's full content instead of excerpts
- those feeds get imported into G00gle Reader so that I can share specific items into a specific public G00gle Reader url
- import that feed into wp-robot and let that software do it's thing on my blog

I hope this is usefull to someone who is looking into wp-robot and rss-f33ds.

sounds intriguing. are you able to strip the original feed's tags at the end? some of the feeds i grab have either the original site's name, or worse yet, their social bookmarking tags in them. i haven't found a good way to strip those yet.

Use autoblogged plugin for rss feeds, much better, your feeds content will get auto-tagged, auto-categorized, filtered ...

@werrich, you can "clean" the feeds by using yahoo pipes, the one that convert excerpt to full content feeds, this way you can get full feed and strip any post footer links.. .
