In most cases they just change up the dom elements. Don’t use an id or class that has “ad” if you want to avoid ad blockers. There’s a lot more you should follow/implement. The best place to find out what you need to know is..

I piss off is Youtube. Google of course they want to push their ads. I noticed if you use ad blocker the video will tend to load slow even come typing seem lag. After you disable ad blocker , video is fast to load. There are site don't work as intended they indirect want you to disable your ad blocker.

try to desable it and enable it again, clean cache and flush your dns if you are using windows, if still shows maybe the add blocker will update in the future and catch to adds, I sometimes see add in some websites or get ad on youtube randomly even when I have enable the adblocker but don't botter me because is not always or with all the websites.
