Maximum Likes on Pinterest?

I recently received the msg "You have reached the maximum number of likes" on Pinterest when trying to like something. This is on an aged account with 300k likes. I'm used to the normal you are pinning too fast, slow down but I haven't seen this before. I haven't liked anything for a day now and it's still showing the same message.

Is there a hard limit set based on followers, etc? I tried unliking some pins but I'm still getting the message.
