Is there a general concensus on what difficulty is good for a niche website keyword? The few im trying for are in the mid 30's, and one is lower 40s

Thanks!

Wouldn't it depend on the resources you had at your disposal? (i.e expired domain with good metrics, web 2.0s or a PBN in place?).

As a rule of thumb, I usually go for 30 on Keyword Revealer. Sometimes a bit higher if I think my website will look odd without an article on the specific keyword.

I'm using expired web 2.0's with 30 PA and a couple other things. Just dripping 3-4 new 2.0's in with only one link to my niche site every few days. Just trying to get a feel for this since I'm brand new to it and reading everything I can!

My highest ranking websites were the one i targeted keywords between 20-25 difficulty score on keyword revealer. Ive ranked for keywords of difficulty score 35 ( according to keyword revealer) but it took longer and i had to write longer content.

Try to make more ******** backlinks with keyword rich anchor text and update your existing content.

your ranking will boost for sure. Try it

If you're able to carve out a niche for yourself and have quality content on your site, I see no reason why you can't drive traffic to your website through long tails, related keywords that get ranked and, most importantly, social media!

I use Long Tail Pro and the highest KW competition I have actually ranked is 45. I generally try to stay below 50 and it serves me well.
