I just applied to my first CPA.
Maxbounty, they told me NOPE.
I tried to get them to call so i could talk them into it. no go.
After a few email i got nowhere
and he refused to tell me why.

So whats the secret?
i dont want to keep applying to cpa's and getting denied
and being in their system.
im not doing anything shady for traffic
(maybe thats why)
i have some genuinely good sites i listed for them to review too.
should i offer a handie or what??

?

My guess would be a couple of things. First, how much did you put for expected revenues per month. Second, what did you tell them were your traffic sources and how much you plan on spending. Lastly, did you mention that you have worked with other networks.

and not to forget is from which country you are.
Some CPA networks don't take publishers from specific countries.

Off the top of my head i dont remember them asking for 'expected revenues' per month or my spending (this doesnt mean they didnt). i told them my traffic sources were pure organic from google and yahoo. and to your last question, NO.

i took the approach of being completely open and honest (i know i know)
providing them sites that were #1 on google and my phone number begging them to call if they had any questions. i figured it was my first go-round so id be honest with them to start.

told them i was in the US. they could have called me at anytime.

im thinking i was about as plain as you could get.
legit blogs, nothing shady, in the US, etc...

Maybe they're just having a bad day? LOL.

Do you have a legit website up you are showing them? Try to sound as professional as possible.

You'll need a website like moneygame said. Even if it's a blog on some random site. You need to really sound like a professional when filling out the application.

Well thats your problem most of the CPA companies ;) most of these CPA companies want you to lie to them ;)

^^^im assuming this now.

i have SEVERAL very good sites i provided them with.
is traffic heavy? no. but its building. im #1 on G for a few.
i was very professional. i knew they would be picky. i gave them my number.
i tried to be transparent too. so they wouldnt think anything shady was up.

No Offense to the CPA companies but what most of them want is monster traffic anyway possible. They don't want to hear directly that you are "dodgy" and will get them leads anyway possible, but they want the impression that you are.

i cant really lie about traffic since they can check it out. i guess i will lie next time and try out some of these other ones. was hoping someone could give me some Maxbounty insite and see what the deal is.

thanks ^^^

Hey green I hear ya. I am in same boat. Got decent site with ok traffic. Tried a few and got denied. WTF. I do not even know how to do anything shaddy. Just google and yahoo organics. What more do they want. Now someone posts 100 different aff networks. Should I just close my eyes and pick one and start applying till I get accepted. I just gave up for now.

yeah, i had seen that list or one like it before. i went MB because they had something that was perfect for my site. after what everyone is saying i think they just dont want any small shows. BIG traffic and thats allll they care about PERIOD

CPA is a great one to try I got approved easily. I also agree just try other ones.
