One guy told me that he was adding a person with 19 friends and it popped out that person has too many friends :O

It occasionally happens, that the 5,000 limit reaches anything like 20 over. But the limit hasnt changed

Twitter doesn't have a 2K limit.

Technical Follow Limits
We do not limit the number of people who can follow you, but we have put limits on how many other accounts you can follow.
Every account can follow 2,000 users total. Once you?ve followed 2,000 users, there are limits to the number of additional users you can follow. This number is different for each account and is based on your ratio of followers to following; this ratio is not published. Follow limits cannot be lifted by Twitter and everyone is subject to follow limits, even high profile and API accounts.
In addition to this account-based limit, every Twitter account is technically unable to follow more than 1,000 users per day. Please note that this is just a technical limit to prevent egregious abuse from spam accounts. Accounts are also prohibited from aggressively following other users. Twitter's 2k rule. But like it isn't hard and fast, I might stall at 2k, next guy gets to 2014
Either way, it's what keeps most accounts below the 2k level.
For me anyway, was my biggest sticking point.
There are no limits for members in fan page..
They are talking about the limit of friends per account

@jasqui: Fanpages are considered like pending requests. I mean, when you are adding to many friends in a day and you got the warning message, you can't join fanpage. But you don't have limits to fanpages. When you reach the 5k friend limit, you can still "like" fp, but it doesn't count in the friend count (I think)

wrong -
there is a limit on the number of pages you can "LIKE" at least there was before they changed it to like.......
Another factor is sometimes lets say you have 5000 friends and 20 peoples in you list get banned or whatever. Sometimes they will disappear from your list but not your number.
The same holds true if you are a fan of a page. If the page you are a fan of gets banned. If you check your profile the page will not be in your list but there will still be counted against you

Maybe but after few hours, you gonna be able to add more pages... myabe it is something about ratio....
