If you have a good account, I think you can do a bunch if the links are different, but keeping a 1:10+ ratio or more. I think a 1:4 ratio is barely trying to cover your tracks and will likely get reported.

But I'm super conservative right now because most of the accounts I'm buying are crap, so growing them myself and not trying to lose them.

If you can act like it's your own site and you're promoting it like "I wrote about XYZ subject" and insert your link, it's definitely easier to blend in and you might get away with more.

I'd also add in links that aren't yours to diversify your profile. I've seen this work well (I always check how others are doing it when I come across a fellow BH-er). You can't tell which one they are promoting and might help prevent your URL from standing out to a mod.

Occasionally, take a step back, look at your profile, and ask yourself if you'd ban that person. If you start getting results, go on a few days of real commenting and push those comments as far into your history as possible.

Then, by the time you're reported, you'll just look too self-promotional vs a spammer. Maybe they'll take down a comment or two, but not ban your entire account.

I almost never post anymore because I don't want the reddit police checking my history.

There are a lot of people spamming reddit right now. Most get banned/suspended. If you think it's "too much", it probably is.

And this is just my style, there are people that churn and burn and think an account lasting 1 week is great. I'm trying to get mine to last many months. So it's a much different strategy.

If you're new to this, before you go scorched earth with your primary account(s), I would read a bunch of the threads on here over the past few months. Get familiar with proxies and antidetect browsers. There's a learning curve.

I lost every account I purchased (~12), a mix of aged and new accounts, and I THINK I did everything correctly. The aged accounts were great while they lasted, but lost some because reddit wouldn't acknowledge I verified a new email and kept sending a password reset to the original creator of the account a few weeks in. Reddit said i was suspicious a few other times and sent an email, but the email provider lock me out for suspicious activity (from the person setting it up). None of them were from actual comments getting flagged or getting the account banned.

All accounts I'm manually creating with verified emails seem to stick (static residential proxy). I'm able to post in a few subreddits and start gaining karma. But new accounts from suppliers get banned as soon as I post, even after days of logging in, warming it up, etc.

It's SUPER time consuming to manually create accounts, warm them up, etc.

Hope this helps. I'm not an expert, just my experience over ~6 months of tinkering with reddit with some successes.
