I got rejected by max bounty today. reason cited is the website I gave them is unsuitable for their affiliates. I know they have mp3/ringtones affiliates, but what else? can anyone give me more info on their advertisers so I can make a quick related site just to get in.

I can just put in a fake website that is not mine but I don't want to trick them...well not until if they reject me again.

No, don't "trick" them. Reply to the denial and give more explanation about your marketing/web experience. Don't worry, it happended to me at first. Be prepared for a telephone call from one of their reps. If all goes well they will accept you. They are on their game and pretty sharp - I would play "nice" with them IMHO.

I got rejected and one of their reps added me on MSN, but haven't seen her online yet.

I would also like to know what other type of products and services they promote.

Call them up, ask for Adam. Tell him you met him at adtech in November (don't worry everyone meets a thousand people there) tell him you are a pay per click and email marketer primarily and you spend a few grand a month advertising offers. He'll approve you right away.

Hey Miami great to see you here -- I guess MB doesn't appreciate a hardworking BHer!!!LOL. That is why I said play "nice" with them. I do not have as much experience as you but I remember reading here that they did not put up with much crap.

it sure sounds hard to get in max bounty. and I surely do not want their reps to call me. I live on the other side of the globe and a overseas call might just cost me a bomb if the rep keeps asking qns.

I will try the email option and see how it goes.

It was not hard last year (2007), but they really tightened the reigns recently.

I am not a big fan of them, $hitty website and search functions.

Tell them you are mainly a search marketer.

but to be honest there are a lot of networks i like a lot more than them
