I've seen a lot of members (mods, exec VIPs, you name it) with signatures containing calls to action. Its against rules but seems - who cares...

There was quite a big stink over this in the past month. If you see any CTA links in signatures, please report it.
 
If we look at the bright side, it is informative. I watched the videos etc and learned a lot from it.

What You learned how to show off from a rented car and talk in a green screen and looking at the social update status posted by someone making $100k but only with 1 or 2 likes and hearing all those rave reviews that are bought on fiverr sounds informative to you?

You would be surprised at how many blackhat attempts at neg SEO I have seen against members like MathewWoodward and Scritty as I run down links that others are attempting. I see this as more of the same - you can't beat them, bitch about them.

The problem is that the anchor is misleading. It says seo study and you end in that bs aff link from known bs seo gurus lol
 
Bhw is a private property and rules changes from person to person
 
I mentioned this a long time ago, back when I thought making half a post and linking to your own blog to read the rest was against the rules. It just looked like a way to divert traffic rather than participating within BHW. Back when I thought creating email lists using BHW members was against the rules if you did not have an approved product. But no one seemed to care, I remember some got banned for stuff like this, but ow well. And it's not about "who cares" it's more about the integrity of the forums, I can imagine shit turning into yet another WF disaster.

I imagine that it is more about people complaining about another persons methods. Instead of complaining, what would happen if you sat back and tried to understand what they were doing and why while ignoring the easy and simplistic ideas. The easy answer is making money. The more difficult answer is how. It is the more difficult answer you should pay attention to. One of the things that the successful do is constantly test. You should be learning from them.

My father taught me that a person with their mouths open learns nothing. It is the ones that keep quiet, and observe, and listen that learn the lesson.

the question is why they're not allowing other members to do the same. Posting half method here remaing method in his own site to get traffic. Why they allowed self promotion for Matt? If I do the same, mods will ban me instantly. I too want to get traffic from a top 500 alexa site.
 
Affiliate links ARE allowed on the signatures, obviously. Where did you read that aff links are not allowed on the signatures? Have we ever infracted anyone for affiliate links on their signatures?
