It happens in so many corporations where the Top Brass want to ensure their own survival. Stick a front guy way out there. Make sure his name is synonymous with the business and massive opinion. That is what makes the perfect fall-guy in a real corporate foundation rocking emergency. Allows a corporation to make a huge public sacrifice and generate a massive amount of 'spin' about how 'seriously' they've taken action!

I reckon, Matt Cutts is the Google Fall Guy 'in waiting' :shhh: (don't anyone tell him)

Given how many people on BHW and else where are complaining about Panda and Penguin, I would say Matt Cutts is doing his job
