Give the guy a break. He is just a figure head in charge of dispersing Google's FUD for the web spam team. He is just doing his job.

Take some of that anger and turn it into positive energy son. Nothing is more unproductive than being angry and resentful.

MC has nothing to do with your failures. He is not the one who masterminded the Google ALGO. He is a servant of it. Like Google themselves, he is not immune to the constraints of the ALGO and also the constraints imposed on him by his boss (take a close look at Larry Page, read his interviews in Wired, etc. to better understand the constraints MC has to meet).

These constraints are actually pushing Cutts further to the limit. His job is increasingly more frustrating. At the same time, he manages to stay cool and likable at times. I respect him because I respect the ALGO. The ALGO is the ultimate master and what differentiates you (black hatter) from stupid drones (white hatters) is the knowledge of the ALGO. This knowledge is constantly shared by MC (again, think the constraints). Your failure today is a step to the victory tomorrow but you should learn how to read the ALGO. Good luck to you!

I actually read that he's lobbying for small business owners at Google, if that's true, he has my respect.

Other then that, it's obvious that much of what he say's is the exact opposite for now, but perhaps not long-term.
