Matt Cutts calls blackhats "lazy"

Don't know if anyone has read the following Q&A with Matt Cutts (http://searchengineland.com/matt-cutts-qa-how-to-use-google-link-disavow-tool-137664), but let me quote what he says:

If a webmaster wants to shoot themselves in the foot and disavow high-quality links, that's sort of like an IQ test and indicates that we wouldn't want to give that webmaster's disavowed links much weight anyway. It's certainly not a scalable way to hurt another site, since you'd have to build a good site, then build up good links, then disavow those good links. Blackhats are normally lazy and don't even get to the "build a good site" stage. ​

I'm extremely lazy and proud of it...

All I want to do is make money, and have fun doing it. Why would I want to painstakingly manually build high quality websites about subjects that I have no interest in, when those asswipes at Google will wipe out a good site just as readily as a bad one? I would much rather build a system that enables me to push the button to make that cash, and not have to worry about Google ruining all of my hard work with an algo change. I'm the hardest working search engine spammer I know... But I'm lazy as fuck when it comes to doing drudge work, like building "quality" websites.

if it simple (using submission tools) why you have make it complicated (making a hundred links manually) ?

IMO, the sentence puts MC in the go-back-to-school zone.... to get a clue of what BH is all about!

If google changes effect your site, then it's not a high quality site. Building a site that relies on another (especially a private one) is bad planning.

Just don't think you are lazy. Don't push it either that you are not the one who is lazy.

BTW, Google has created a top class BH site... see the tons of spam in your GMail account and you'll know what I mean. Couldn't have G stopped spam + scam (those Nigerian scam emails including) from entering gmail, it's (GMail is) created and operated in their own backyard, isn't it?

It shows the actual double standards used by MC and his mother company.

Somebody should quiz him about this >>> Is it possible that some top G employee() is actually sending those Nigerian scam emails under complete protection, because none of them are ever investigated or caught! What's G actually doing there? What white hat is he talking about in the front door, while their back door (gmail) is actually helping the scammers to get to the subscribers like never before?

Try to complain to them about those unsolicited spam and scam emails... you'll never get a straight answer.

He might say that G is taking all the precautions and measures to stop BH AND scammers, but they (BH and scammers) are always a step ahead....

If so, then if BHs are lazy, G is more lazy than the BH'ers.

Anyway he is prone and known to make such crazy speeches! Some day when he admits that G practices BH (may be not fully,but sure partly, and why not?!) then he can count me as one of his new fans!

Someone should get MC to try and scrape a thousand do-follow auto-submit list of High PR Blogs within a niche, using Scrapebox He'll get the meaning of 'Hard-Working' then!
On a serious note, most people in BHW aren't Black-hatters anymore. Rarely do we see an SEO guy just leaning on tools to get his clients' site up.

Why not concentrate on site quality and stop building all these complex algo to find links.

Or are you scared, we already figured out google is only about links at the end of the day. No matter how cool ur site is "links" and only links are the final determinant for everything on google.

I often find myself shaking my head when clients approach me with 'link building' problems.

Most of the time the site does not deserve to be in the top 10 of any result period and these are businesses with vested interests in their sites.

Nevermind the kind of stuff fly by night affiliates knock out designed to get people on/off the page via an aff link as soonas possible.

Most people getting into IM are sold the get rich quick scheme, and they certainly do things quickly
