Matomo it's good alternative to Google Analytics?

Hello guys, I installed Matomo in my cpanel (easy with softaculous), but I want to know what about speed? Matomo will slow the websites? And if the server where Matomo is hosted will down, also my websites with the tracking code will affected?

Yes absolutely.
One thing I found particular insightful about it is the heat map feature. The only downside is that you have to pay to use the coolest features like that. Not expensive tho and it's worth every penny.

And what about host multiple domains under the same matomo account? I mean, every domain will have the same custom domain tracker, so I don't think it's good for seo.
I have to create for each domain the own matomo account (with subdomain)?

I used it on only one domain. It didn't slow down my site. No significant impact either but I am sure it's by far better than GA. But that's just me.

It's one of the best alternatives to GA per my choice, especially if you're using the WP plugin, making things easier/more straightforward,
It has most of the features of the free version, you can get the pro version if you need more detailed/customized reports & users activity logs,

You can use Yandex Metrica as an alternative as well, especially if you want something like real-data reports,
Just test both and choose what works the best for your case(s)
