I was just wondering, who could this be in one of the most most extensive spam attacks ever seen.

Perhaps more disturbing is that unlike a lot of blog spam, which attempt to get links on blogs for SEO purposes, the only links so far from this profile are to Google.com.

all my blogs were hit as well. Of course my spam blocker stop it all.

What is this person up to??

Quick search on google of the Names that this person has been using shows that he has been successful in posting to thousands upon thousands of Blogs.

Maybe it's to test a new software, or perhaps to see what blogs are not using spam control.

just on a side note, I have been using this information with some success.

all you do is put the names that person has been using and that person's comment in quotation marks plus your niche and there you go, you get every blog that doesn't use spam control that you can post your Link to easily :-)

some of that Names that the spammer has been using

KattyBlackyard The article is usefull for me. I?ll be coming back to your blog.

AndrewBoldman da best. Keep it going! Thank you

a quick search on Google for this look like

AndrewBoldman "da best. Keep it going! Thank you"

here are the results
Results 1 - 10 of about 55,200 for AndrewBoldman "da best. Keep it going! Thank you".

you could add your Nich to the search

something like this

AndrewBoldman "da best. Keep it going! Thank you" anxiety

the results are

Results 1 - 10 of about 53 for AndrewBoldman "da best. Keep it going! Thank you" anxiety

so there are 53 blogs that, you know, you could drop your link on quickly and easily for anxiety

I don't know who this is what he is up to, but he has opened a door for me.

what he does is yet to be seen!!!

This was a test!

This is what most people do when trying out a new method or tool!

It sounds pretty damn effective though, however I think it needs to use various IP's

yea if hes postiong links to google im assuming its a test of some program or something I would think lol. It could be one of those new blog commenting bot program that are out? Im not sure but atleast you blocked it all.

It's either a test, a bot gone wrong, or something like content diffusion such as reputation management. The spammer could be attempting to dilute the negative press of a person(s) with those given names. On the contrary with those spam tactics it could also be used to give a negative impression of a person... or even adding more thought to the picture it could be something like a pump and dump (see wikipedia) where they are trying to get exposure of a penny stock ceo or something like that.

the one IP is definitely deliberate whenever he's using sophisticated enough to create different user IDs and e-mails

More than this, the same user has autoregistered at thousands of internet forums, regardless as to whether they are running vbulletin, phpbb, or IPB

as far as the pump. non of the posts are related to anything that I see relevant

Here's another footprint for a nice 300+ results:

"I have been looking looking around for this kind of information. Will you post some more in future? I'll be grateful if you will."

Could it be Xrumer or a software not yet to be released and only for their own personal use?

Not half bad... :) I found these four valuable parasite hosts just looking at the first 7 pages of the above footprint:

Code:

Possibly a professional spammer showing a potential client what you can do?

Possibly a professional spammer showing a potential client what you can do?

perhaps but you have to understand that this is the most massive spaming ever recorded.

by the many antispam software available out their

Do you think that he is possibly using it to get paid on google searches? I see these got caught in my filters on a weekly basis for about a month now. I figured it was a test of some sorts or possibly someone getting paid for google searches. Do you think that is maybe possible?

Ok,... dispense with the bullshit and tell me where I can buy the program?

:spam:

I don't know http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/members/17376-claude5670.htmlclaude56700 if thanks are in order since it was a discussion about what could be the spam links about but any way thanks a lot. I had a job that required quick links, after a whole day of trial and error using the directory submitters and other scripts around with no luck your post came to my rescue.

I've found another one:

GarykPatton "You know so many interesting infomation. You might be very wise. I like such people. Don't top writing."

It returns 15,900 results :) Not bad for link building.

Well I Hope When I Get My Blogs Ranked High In PR Ad Organic This Spammer Don't Attack!!!

I think I've found out more about this guy. He seems to own 1stcreditcardsoffer.eu (I saw one of his comments on a blog using this URL instead of Google).

A quick Yahoo Site Explorer shows that he has over 50,000 backlinks - Mainly from these blog comments :o

I'd love to know how he's doing it.
