Massive SERP increase today. Could it be Penguin-Live? Please say its true. ‪

Any-body else see any major improvement in SERP?

Doubtful. Just yet another round of PBN de-indexing probably.

Wait for a few more days

Sometimes Google Dance has some nice pops up (and depressingly low crashes).

Hell yeh! I got the same SERP boost for my keywords. some tracking keywords from 2nd page to 1st page as well as some keywords from nowhere to the second page! It's a pretty much of a new site started around 3 months back.

This is one of the largest serp increase which I saw after starting this site. May be some kinda update is currently at play. Don't know for sure.

No, it's not penguin today

Last 5 months i didn't do anything to promote my website. Now my ranking got down 3-4 positions for most of my keywords ranked.

Mozcast did report the highest number out of the last 30 days - http://mozcast.com.

Yup saw some increases across the board. Mozcast again showing high turbulance 2 days in a row.

Not always happy though when you see a SERP boost before a major update is released lol :)

A site I made a month ago just went from 37th to 8th and 9th position with no backlinks I have built indexed yet as I built first 1 last night.

Across the board there is definitely some movement, will wait for couple of days before making any conclusions.

Fairly new sites should be seeing a boost here, as I'm seeing another round of deindexing of a lot of the older PBN (paid) links some of my niche sites have. This effect would drop older sites down who owned the PBN links, while it misses newer sites who's PBN links are newer and not on any Google hit list yet.

I'm gonna have to freshen up my link profile with some new PBN orders on my niche sites. But based on my research this should fix it.

I agree. I just lost a mini network (less than 20) and a site or two on some networks so I guess it's a roll-out of a deindexing campaign.

I track the cache dates of many properties I own. A large chunk of them got crawled and cached on the 5th and 6th of Jan so most likely something is happening.

Yeah i saw some big jumps on my own sites so it is probably and update.
