Massive ranking drops.........A Google update?

My website ranked for 32 keywords in Top 5 pages in Google UK
12 of them were at Google 1st Page Positions 2,4,5,7,10

for past few months till yesterday..... Today except one keyword, all the other keyword were not in Top 5 Pages(may be not in Top 100) my SERP track show only the the Top 5 pages

One Keywords which in Google 1st Page (position #4) dropped to 5th Page (#41)
All are regional SEO keywords...

Any Google updates ?
anyother have this same exp ?

Personally I am having no trouble at all with ranking but then again I know how to do SEO properly
But there are a few people experiencing some problems like you in this thread

Yes many of people were experiencing this myself included just wait a few more days to see if they announce an update!

G Penguin is very near. Maybe but I didn't see any drop in my keywords.

My site got dropped few place, it have been ranking strong for more than 1 year. Algoroo.com showing a big change in recent days. It must be an update.

There was a significant google update last night at about 10pm CDT.
All of my sites increased significantly, but yes, there was an update. Looks like some kind of Penguin incarnation, but appears to be quite 301 friendly.

http://www.mozcast.com is showing a high spike in the weather, so we could be looking at an update, especially considering how mild this month has been so far.

Hi OP,

Yes, a new update has been rolled out and everyone was affected so long as its in Big G Network. This is not an alarming issue as everyone has undergo a few animal updates!

Ups and downs all over, a data refresh as well as panda has been confirmed I suppose. Nothing serious though.
