Massive Money Maker Method During Xmas

Ok this is a method that I used last year to make some pretty decent Cash.

I earned 1740$ in 3 weeks from this. And thats CASH!!!!!!

You will need a decent Camera and thats it You can Bank with this.

What you need to do is send out a message on Facebook,twitter or email to your friends and Family or anyone you know telling them your Doing December Photography FREE.

You will Take pictures FREE.

When they have their family dinners and parties you are willing to come round and take pictures for them. often people are very busy with cooking and kids to take photos and sometimes they forget.

You Don't charge them per hour OR FOR YOUR SERVICES.

YOU CHARGE THEM PER PICTURE TAKEN.charge them a tiny fee per picture.

what you will notice is that many people will want the pictures and will often be willing to pay small fee for it. not anything massive. i was charging 10$ per 50 photos. so in other words 20c per photo.which isn't bad.

THE KEY TAKE AS MANY PICTURES AS YOU CAN. you can end up with like 300 - 500 photos per event and You can do 2/3 different parties in one night.

200 photos = 40$. if you did that twice a day 80$ a day x 20 days for December = 1600$ for a month. very easy to do

you take your fee and you email them the pics.

the profit in this. that you spend NOTHING.

camera's Already have memory. and your saying you will take pics for FREE.

Many people cannot Afford A PHOTOGRAPHER.When you say you will take pics FREE they JUMP ON IT.

You can twist this method 100's of ways. you can even do it full time.

this can be scaled up into a Full Time Business.

and if you do a massive party for someone well you can charge more per pic.

normal photographers charge per hour. so people dont like this or cant afford it. You are simply charging per picture taken thats it. people take the pictures they want and they pay you for what they want. 90% of the time they wil take all the pictures.

its a mental trick but it works, and its very simple if done correctly.

its not hard to take a good picture as long as you stay sober.

I don't get it either, you really can't tell the people that it's free then when you are done you ask for money. Also it's not easy to find 40 parties that are willing to accept and pay for your service. Great method overall for photographers.

let me say this in laymans terms - You offer your services free - to actually take the pictures but you charge them per picture they like so they dont have to pay all that money for the actual service.

its the same as designing a FREE website but charging for the hosting.

instead of making them PAY huge amounts for your service. you minimise it by saying you just pay 20 cents per photo that you like.

its really not hard to do. and requires small bit of logic.

This sounds like an interesting method, but really wouldn't work very well in the U.S. (where I live). Just about everyone has a digital camera or has a someone close to them that has one. I really don't see how anyone would be willing to pay me (an unskilled photographer) to take photos of them.

Thats under minimum wage.
I think it will work better in the partyscene. You take pictures for free at party's/events..give them a number to website where they can see the photo...if they want the pic charge them 5$. Nothing new, but it works.

I was just thinking this method isn't really about longevity, is it? It's more about evolving into something else.

I mean this is a method that will require some serious skills in photography, image editing, and final photo printing/publishing to expand into a business that provides you with an living income.

I really see this method as a foot-in-the-door, so to speak, for anyone looking to get into freelance photography with the plans of building a serious business out of it. As I really don't see any better way of getting your start in freelance photography than by charging very little to capture photos of friends and family, as per your method OP.

How to treat friends 101: Tell them up front that there will be a charge for the pics.

You're offering a free service... but without actually receiving pics, the picture taking itself has no value whatsoever. They had nothing before you showed up with your "free service", you ate some of their food and busted flashes in their face, and they still had nothing when you left. Lol you should make them provide the camera too!

Also, you better be taking good pictures. None wants to pay for shitty pics.
