I've been trying out Market Samurai and loved the data it returned to me for my keywords. However, the program hangs more often than not and wastes a LOT of time because you never know if the software has hanged or is just taking a lot of time to run the queries.

Is there a well coded software which can scrape a lot of keyword data efficiently i.e. 5,000+ keywords gathering the following info:

    total searches (broad, exact, phrase)
    adwords cpc
number of results (broad, exact, phrase)
intitle number of results (broad, exact, phrase)
inurl number of results (broad, exact, phrase)

Also, needs to support a custom proxy list.

I don't need the software to do this in record time as I don't mind waiting for my results as long as I know the software has not crashed and keeps on working.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

is this something traffic travis can do?

i've heard that MS is the best on the market at the moment, but they are having massive issues with the latest google updates and just aren't getting on top of the issues which is unfortunate :(

MS seems to be calming down after the madness of the last 5-6 months.

they modified their database structure so it will no handle max 5000 keywords per tab.

but best bet is to split these down into 1000 keywords per tab and run them.

Well I checked into Traffic Travis v.4 but found on another board that it suffers from very bad bugs that are not being resolved very fast.

I've seen the videos for scrapebox, this software looks fantastically stable, so I was wondering if there exists a "scrapebox for keyword research" kind of tool, something which can perform massive queries efficiently.

Yes, splitting it down will be my last resort if I don't find a more reliable software. I like the market samurai interface but the software just feels fragile like you can't use the PC for anything else while it works or it may just hang even with smaller lists. And my PC is pretty recent, AMD 6 cores with 4 gigs RAM so I don't usually have a problem running many resource heavy programs simultaneously.
