Hey Fellows,
since 2 weeks im automating my instagram acc. Since december i grew manually to 600 follower but its a pain in the ass. Now Im close to 1000 since i got almost 30 followers a day. Most of the botted followers are quality followers aswell. but what i see is that my engagement in this case my like rate is very low. b4 botting i had about 150-200 likes per picture and now i ruffly hit 80 per pic. is it becausei bot too agressive

Could be. Another thing is that you always need to edit the pictures to remove metadata. Instagram likes original content, so they choose to not push the ones that are just ripped from other pages. If you edit the pics, aka remove the metadata, your photos will get pushed to more people automatically.

I guess if you use a personal account its reach is better versus business one. When you change to business account, they want money to promote post and stories: if you want reach, pay for it!

that is what happens when you use a bot. You have a very high risk that your engagement score goes down down.
I prefer using manual growth including follow/unfollow, like, comments - this way you will increase your engagement rate and keep it high.
If you are only using bot for that, once you stop use it, you will loose that high engagement rate as it can't sustain itself.

From my experience, I have two accounts on my phone and I don't use bots, # 1 is an account that I added fake followers few years back as at that time I didn't know this could affect the account and #2 I have been naturally grown by me, both are in same niche and recently I started posting same posts (created by me, not re-post), all post are high quality ... I'm doing f/u myself, I have been doing follow like 10 follows each every hour or so, may be 80-100 per day if I can and do the unfollow alone when I get to certain number of follows. (both accounts are business)

Results: What surprised me most is that I get between 15-20 followers on #2 (the natural one) out of 70-90 follows I do and I only get 5-7 followers on #1 (the one with old fake followers), this has been going for a week so far, I'm not sure why is that but may be IG does something here.

I have also noticed much less in engagement rate in #1 compared to #2, but again, I'm still testing, my case is not like yours but may be this could shed some light on something.

I made the same mistake, but that’s not fair because anyone can buy fake followers to someone else and destroy his or her engagement
....
