I am making a lot through the Amazon affiliate program, (I'm talking huge profits) however I am always concerned of getting my account closed for some stupid random reason. And payments take so long to come through. I am hyper paranoid. Every morning I wake up fearing the dreaded email. Is this normal?

I think the large profits come from making your techniques more unique and developing them yourself. At some points in the process I have made realizations where small changes to the system really help lock it down.

I was hoping to add some redundancy to my setup by buying someone else's old APPROVED unused associate account. The reasons for this are complex, but they seem good to me. PM me if you might be able to hook me up.

There's no 100% safe affiliate program. Having said that, Amazon will definitely not ban you for making too much $ as long as it's legit. Now if you're hacking or doing something shady for that traffic, then yes you may have the account seized.

Hey man! Maybe you are right. But still... it would be a lot to lose. I'll always be looking to upgrade my setup.

I've never heard someone losing his amazon account, i'm into that since 3 years or so... This is not CPA it's Amazon bro! Just stay on the bright side and you'll never have a problem.

Running multiple accounts is worthy of a ban, so it seems a little foolish to do that if you're not doing anything shady on your main account. If you feel your main one will go down any day, it's definitely worth getting a backup in place, maybe working 90/10 or 80/20 with people you trust who can get accounts of their own.

To be sure have a read through the terms. If you are breaking the terms you will NOT get paid. So go read them over and if you feel you may be breaking the terms, change the way you do things.

If you don't break the rules outlined in their OA you have nothing to fear. If you do something that you suppose not, paranoia will creep in and you may sooner or later get caught.

They are pretty strict with the rules. if your main account get banned, don't make new one with the same details (name, address, email, bank) and use different computer. me get banned 6 times and mostly because duplicate accounts.

Now i am using another account with different details. amazon can't touch it (yet) :D

Depends - are you breaking their TOS or tip toeing around the borders of what is within their TOS and what is not?
If you are doing anything shady, then ye it won't be long until you're caught out.

That sounds interesting but as long as you don't cheat them with illegal tricks you can make as much money as you want

If you are legit, no worries. You won't have any problem. Good luck

You're making them money as well, no sense in banning you unless you're shady

you must be doing something real shady if you're worried like that

Maybe diversifying your income will relieve some of the stress.

Unless you go against their rules, why would they should you down? Stay white hat and you should be fine.
