I personally recommend, Visual Watermark. It is a free & paid watermarking software with lots functions and features. It is an extremely convenient, easy to use application with the ability to customize watermarks within the application, or even upload an existing logo to watermark the images.

Record an action on Photoshop and then import is to Batch ( File --> Automate --> Batch ) and select the folder

I use IRFanView. you can bulk resize, shade, contrasts, cut, etc.. Pretty cool

not only can you add watermarks to images from folder, you can batch resize, rename, crop, things like that

I know this thread is old, but for the searches in the future. ..
Adobe Lightroom will also do this on export, if your managing a lot of photos, like 10k+ its a great tool. the standard in photography.
