Mass Planner vs Hoot Suite

I'm trying to find a way to automate some of my work across different social platforms, including facebook and instagram.
Specifically, I want to find a way to schedule posts and content that will go across different platforms and provide me stats etc. Between the two - Hoot Suite and Mass Planner, which one do you prefer? Mass Planner seems good, but is it true that you have to buy addon's for each social network site you want to integrate with (instagram, facebook, etc) ON TOP of the monthly fee?

I use MP and it is really an awesome tool.
As far as your question - yes, you have a monthly fee (10$) and extra modules (one time payment). You do not need extra modules for posting on fb or joining FB groups. But you do need to buy an instagram posting module.
But since MP supports all of the big platforms - it is really good for a complete arsenal. While you focus on one platform, your other platforms grow by themselves.
 
I checked out Mass Planner today and like everything about it, except posting with the instagram module being against their TOS rules. I would hate for instagram to block my account because of they way MP is using the module to post images straight to instagram. Probably just paranoid, but it's something I don't want to deal with since Instagram seems to be going after bots. Hootsuite seems good, but I hate that facebook adds "posted via Hootsuite" to images/links that are scheduled using the tool.

the way mp posts is by emulating how a user would do it, i assure you, you are totally safe, we have a lot of clients using it for months with not 1 single problem whatsoever. anyway, if you're scared about your main account you can just grow a couple extra accounts that shoutout your main account from time to time to give that a boost, you have everything for all the 6 platforms, if you don't want you can simply skip instagram posting. Unlike hootsuite, Mass Planner leaves no trace for any of the platforms as it doesn't use their api.

You can definitely simply use a web automation software to automate your social media activities. It's more efficient.

MP is awsome, Hoot Suite will give you headaches. I use MP for more than 1 year and I can say it works so fine.
 
Can you bulk upload and schedule Instagram photos with MP? I'm after something that I can use to just dump like 200 pics on some instagram accounts and let a software post them a couple per day, whislt having FL running in the background. Will MP do this for me?

yes it can do that, though the instagram poster is a one time extra module not included in the main subscription.

i guess it just a warning there's no bot that can upload to instagram without breaking their TOS , i've tried hootsuite in the past but it's not even close to MP

I'm just checking the massplanner website and only see a "Monthly Licence" and "6 Month Licence" as options, and both seem to have all features listed. Where can I see the pricing for the additional features?

Also I see that it says only 12/24 social accounts, how much does it cost for extra? Currently I have 40 Twitter accounts on Hootsuite.

yes, that's right, it's a warning so everybody know what to expect, instagram doesn't allow any other way of posting except through your phone, so if you want to do this, you'll need to take some risks..

Glad I found this. Been using hootsuite for a couple years. Is Massplanner still the best?

Are you sure 2 modules can up to 50% off,what I get the message from mass planner login page not like that , even I log in to see for extra module part is not like that 50% discount for buy 2 modules, for more than 20 users better buy 70 dollars multi account modules but after discount the price will cheaper , their support Anna she is doing well on support , the support base on email ticket , actually I wish in the future as bhw many peoples contributions to mp, wish we can get it he live support with 24 by 7 , I am a member now but just bought it this week , how do I get 50% discount for 2 modules, do I need to mention to mp , from BHW?because what I get the offer is buy 2 modules 10 off , get 5% off for any additional modules,this discount do not apply by purchase one by one , meaning that u need to purchase all modules at one time,then will get accumulate discount , maximum 40% off for 8 modules

there is no 50% for two modules,you didn't read what was said correctly, it says "get from %15 for two modules up to %50" it meant to say you can get from 15% for two modules, up to 50% for more modules, and 15% for two modules was way back like a year ago, now it's 10% for 2 modules up to 40% for 8 modules.

I think mp modules are worth to buy it ,
Right now still doing the testing
