A lot of big accounts have been going private lately. If I use mass planner, what happens if I try to scrape followers from a private account? Obviously it won't work, but will Mass Planner just wait until the account goes public and then scrape followers again? If the account. Is public and then goes private, will mass planner still be able to scrape followers from when it was public?

The moment an account goes private, you won't be able to scape his followers/followings. When he goes public again, it will become available again. It's a limitation by Instagram, nothing MP can do about it.
