Mass page authroity checker now that scrapebox isn't working

Now that scrapebox can't check PA using the addon (change in moz coding-reply received from scrapebox support) does anyone have an alternative. Of course I can check one at a time using moz bar but...

Suggestions gratefully received.

Scrapebox still works, but MOZ is blocking some peoples IPs while other requests go thru fine. Other tools like checkmoz.com are affected as well. MOZ had some DDoS attacks on their network so they installed incapsula.

So other tools can have the same issue because the issue is MOZ its self not Scrapebox. So I don't have any recommendations for you because other tools are affected too. So you can mail moz and ask them to whitelist your IP/moz id.

I was having the same problem checking as OP. (Of course that would happen as soon as I needed to check a bunch of domains) I found this site https: www. inter-nut.com . It's the best checker I've found so far for bulk domain authority/page authority checks. I threw a list of 8700 domains at it and it gave me accurate results in about 5 minutes.

Just checked on my copy of SB and PA checker is still working fine.

There are many tools online where you can check anything for your site

better create one tool for you and start selling that,dont depend upon scrapebox.

oddly, I just received a reply from scrapebox official support which says it isn't. So, who do I believe my own eyes and scrapebox support or......

Thanks but inter nut is giving "Error[SEOMoz]: This account has been banned from Moz's APIs. Please contact our help team (https://moz.com/help/contact)."

Its hit or miss. Moz had a DDoS attack on their network and they installed a captcha service. Some people it lets thru, others it doesn't, even with the same referrer or user agent 1 request succeeds and another fails.

So if it works for you, great, if it doesn't you can mail moz support and ask them to whitelist your ip or member id.

As noted above some tools are affected too.

Thanks. Just got a reply from moz support. They won't do that. My API is working perfectly, they say it must be the software I am using (full quote - DON'T SHOOT the messenger was "There is a good chance that the 3rd party tool you were using has been blocked by us due to fraudulent usage.", which brings me back full circle.

They are blowing smoke and probably don't have a high enough pay grade to actually do anything or know the correct answer.

The truth is you can't block Scrapebox because it doesn't look like "Scrapebox". I mean the requests are sent in and there is no footprint that identifies a request as scrapebox. Also other tools aren't working, tools that are perfectly within the TOU.

Anyway, not shooting the messanger, but the person you were talking to is too ignorant to know the correct answer so they made up one to get rid of you. More or less. Or maybe they actually believe what they are saying, but they are too ignorant about how stuff works to know their answer can't be true.

I had a similar issue (two days ago, when you first submitted here), and a similar response from the MOZ team.

HOWEVER, the PA checker is now working fine. (since yesterday)

Did you check again since you first encountered the problem?

Hi. I just have and it has started working again. Tried a different api (you can regenerate one in the moz api section.) Wonder if it will work tomorrow

Yes Ive had other people say it started working again for them. Perhaps moz loosened the belt a bit on the blocks. Possibly anyway. Maybe enough people mailed them that they realized they had gone overboard, but yes we shall see what tomorrow brings, lol.

I forgot to mention that while it still didn't work for me, I also tried regenerating the key and it didn't help.

EDIT: To clarify, the mass pa checker started working again the next day, as I wrote before.

it's weird that I cannot open PA checker add-on on ScrapeBox.. Other add ons open just fine though.
