I know a guy who somehow bypassed Twitter TOS a while ago and was able to follow 28K a day on Twitter and unfollow, same day, everyone who didn't follow back. He's a hacker by nature. I only believed him because he had millions of active followers over a dozen accounts, and he got that done in maybe six months.

Any clue how he did this? He's no longer doing it and I kick myself for not taking his help when he offered it.

Did you see it happen? Following: +28k in one day? Did you see him follow 28k on the same day?

There's no way he could bypass Twitter's TOS to follow 28k in a day. Even if he did, He'd have his account deleted within hours. I doubt if he bought his followers. Or maybe he hacked a follow for follower app on iphone/android(those are pretty easy to hack) to get followers.

I didn't. My friend did. I saw him gain exponentially in weeks. Then suddenly it stopped. Didn't even need a deck and he'd get hundreds of retweets. We used to be in a suite. Even with all our 100k accounts, his main was the best one we had.

I believe him. I don't see how it was feasible to gain all those followers in a short time.

If he could actually get 28,000 followers in a day why would he stop. That is definitely something I would have to see to believe.

Hi,
If you're certain that he got that many followers and he's your friend, the best option is to ask him how he did it.

I should've clarified, I did ask him. We talked about it. He said he had his own software and aged accounts he had. I couldn't argue with the results. He wouldn't elaborate further. Only concluded that he'd help me if I wanted. He doesn't do it anymore and again, won't elaborate past it was his own thing he wrote abd used.

Regardless I'm more just curious. I wanted to if anyone else knew how to do it or has done it.

Okay you didn't see it, so he's just lying. What could have happened is what fredfred already said.. He's promoting his account on hundreds of accounts with proxies. He could also have bought these followers and retweets. Or buying a lot of shoutouts. Lots of possibilities, but he was never able to bypass the Twitter TOS.

Cool thank you all. I appreciate the time and thoughts. You're all very smart.

I don't think it is possible , but if their is something like this i would like to know the trick

Anyone got it possible ?? i never heard follow 28k a day possible even when i can deliver 500k twitter followers a day !

I used to follow 50,000 a day but the android glitch was patched over a year ago

All I know for sure is he did gain hard quick. You guys could follow more than 1K a day?... How?

I seriously doubt that, being a hacker is not like you see in movies, doing pretty much anything you want in a couple of minutes. And many things hackers can't do, i don't think anyone can "bypass" that limit because it's clear and imposed for everybody, unless you have access to the twitter code and can whitelist your accounts or something like that it can't be done so stop dreaming ;)
