Mass emails using many email accounts

Hi all!

I have a list of about 300k verified email addresses for a DTC project. I want to send them a monthly email.
I understand I need to set up about 100-1000 email accounts across multiple domains and warm them up. But Google Workspace accounts are prohibitively expensive (Will cost $10K+).

What's the cheapest way to get hundreds of email accounts? What are the downsides of using a non-Gmail account? Which ESP will be easiest to work with for emailing?

Is there a better way to approach this?

A cheaper route is to get shared hosting with unlimited email accounts (like Namecheap or Hostinger), then set up multiple domains and warm them up gradually.

Google workspace account from resellers wouldn’t cost you much.
For setting up 500 email accounts, it shouldn’t cost more than $400 a month.

I have a few options to get it done via Google Workspace at an affordable cost.

What about Purelymail? any good for cold emails?

For very low-budget, it's posibble. Uutlook/hotmail is cheaper than gmail, buy 100-200 emails, rotate and delay them

300k monthly emails is newsletter territory with most email marketing platforms, not cold email territory... if these are verified/opted-in subscribers just use a proper esp like sendgrid, mailgun, or amazon ses. costs like $300-500/month for that volume vs your $10k workspace nightmare.

if this is actually cold email, you're doing it wrong. google workspace approach would get you blacklisted instantly. cheap alternatives like namecheap email or zoho exist but deliverability is trash compared to google/outlook.

for bulk cold email at scale, people use:
- instantly.ai or smartlead with their built-in mailboxes
- microsoft 365 accounts (cheaper than google, better for bulk)
- custom smtp servers, probably the best option for your use case

real question is how'd you "verify" 300k emails? if they didn't opt in, you're gonna have massive spam complaints regardless of setup. if they did opt in, stop overthinking and use a standard pre-warmed email sender.

Cheapest route is bulk domain registrations with low cost hosting/email (Namecheap, Porkbun, Hostinger, Zoho Mail) and rotating senders through a warmed IP/SMTP setup.

Use cheap domain email providers with warm up tools, but expect lower trust than Gmail and higher spam risk if not done slowly.
