Mass DM vs mass mentions (comments)

hey hey friends,

How was your experience with it? And what did you think was better?

Tried mass dm 3 times and it depends on the provider, the first time was the best one then I switched provider and ended with losses.

Mass mentions end shadow banned so really not worth it.

Mass DM still works but the results are not what it used to be around a year ago, It's way too saturated now and people are aware about this method, which leads to the audience not giving attention to those accounts sending dm's.

Mass Mentions don't give the same result.
 
One bad thing about mass dm is account termination, if any account gets banned, the profile shows "instagram user" and the prospect may not engage with the message again. Manual Mass dm works with 30 dm a day per account some days 50 dm, in 20 days you could hit 300 to 500 dm on one account multiplied by the number of accounts you have. On the other hand, authomated mass dm is bot like and IG detects them real fast and ban such actions immediately. Manual methods cannot be detected easily except when done like a bot, the human brain is smarter than A.I, but, we fail to use it in terms of marketing that's why, sometimes, many automated methods fail. Another advantage of the manual method is the fun! watching your dm fill up in few months with organic replies which you'll easily build a rapport with the clients that replied and you can for the second time message those that didn't reply. The goal is to hit the clients that will respond. Neglect the numbers if it doesn't yield result. A major part of marketers use automated mass dm because of the numbers 10000 dm a day, of what use is it if the disseminated 10k messages doesn't yield any result? those bots may attract bots and you end noticing that most of the accounts that received the message are bot accounts.
 
I’ve seen a guy who still manages to keep his accounts safe after mass dm’s. His sending accounts are very basic and seem very low effort to set up. Only profile picture and nothing else.

The only problem with his approach was the language in which the message was sent.

He didn’t seem to be able to auto-detect the language of a user account.

Hence I got a dm in french which was practically useless for him.

If I could figure this out, then I could send targeted dm’s that people can actually understand.
 
Mass DMs work better if you're aiming to sell a service or product directly to your target audience. It's best used for lead gen because you're able to communicate the scope of what you're offering more effectively.

Mass Mentions work best for gaining traction on a given post (i.e. giveaways). You're able to execute them much more effectively and reach a greater amount of people given the fact that one action = four - six mentions whereas with Mass DMs one action will always be one DM (unless you're sending via creation of group chats).
 
Mass DMs are only worth it for some people. It doesn't really work very well if you are not dming people that you are not following, since it tends to land in the hidden msgs box.

Is it good to say that accounts being pointed to is safe if I were to use this? I am looking to use mass dms for a while now.

Yes the account being pointed to is safe, if not, people would have misused it to ban their competitor's account. You can go ahead good luck!
