Mass Automation via VPS?

Hey guys,

I thought about running various automation tools for Twitter, SEO etc., but I don't have Windows at the moment. I am using Ubuntu.

Also, I'd like to run the application 24/7 and that is why I thought about VPS.

I am a newbie about VPS, so I wanted your advice. Simply put, the VPS is a computer with Windows on it without having the physical product?

Is this a good option for my endeavor? If so, any recommendations?

VPS is a virtual machine on a remote server, good option for automation as long as you don't annoy your hosts by overloading the server, be sure to check out the hosts TOS first

So basical, where I have regular Windows that I access via Remote Desktop, right?

Can you recommend any companies?

If you are looking for a host i recommend you check web hosting talk forums and look at the vps offers , they have a tons of hosting companies all competing for your money .
