Ok, as the title suggests, I'm after the best method of masking Itune affiliate links. This isn't to trick the potential buyer, it's simply to make it a shorter URL so it doesn't look messy and unprofessional.

Now, would something as simply as using a URL shortener work or is there a better way?

To be honest unless you do it at your hosting I would not trust any of em from past info they seem to strip affiliate links or replace them with their own.
