I don't get it. Is the dude a member of the Wu-Tang Clan?
Not sure if serious, but here is link - he is quite popular personality since a while:
He is a person responsible for rising Aids/HIV related meds from few bucks to $750. They called him most hated person on Internet of 2015.
he isn't: http://www.bloomberg.com/features/2015-martin-shkreli-wu-tang-clan-album/
OHH. Damn definitely making sense
Just a rich geeky kinda guy.
I will never understand how people will millions of dollars still do shady business.
If you got the money its no reason for that man...
Sounds like big pharma industry is actually pretty evil place, so besides this guy going public about it, I wouldn't suspect less from others CEOs but with much more sensitive social presence.
is he a drug dealer?
Ironic really - he may end up with aids when he gets nailed by fellow in-mates
Well hopefully not, as shit this person is, jail rape is complete failure of any justice system.
Karma's a bitch, and that guy got what he deserved (if he did what the FBI is charging him for that is).
You don't get it aren't you? Fuc*ing media news sheeps.
Guy solf these drugs to people for 7$ who had no insurance but he charged 700+$ for insurance companies, not individuals, so he eventually lower down drug price from 30 to 20, than to 12 and it was 5.60 few months ago, then media caught him on this 700$ price that he charged insurance companies for.
He is a great guy folks, don't be a sheeps, do some research
I also read something like that a heard his interview on why he raised the price - because of the insurance companies so the people actually get this cheap or something. Oh well. Don't know what to truth is anymore.
Still a douche move. $700 is quite the unnecessary increase.
He did it so he can spend money on R&D to improve the drug as it has had the same formula for the past 40 years.
I am surprised that people actually defend him. It was proven that the "I charge only insurance companies" bullshit is only partially true. I have seen a person saying that in Canada he was charged full price and he had to pay from his pocket.
Yeah, 90% patients will be covered, but the rest are fucked. There is no such thing as double pricing here - unless people would buy directly from pharma company and the guy would risk getting sued by insurance companies.
If there would be a way for average Joe to get the medicine cheaper, then insurance companies would be first to know about it.
If his house gets burgled while he's away, hopefully someone steals the wu tang cd, and releases it.
Anyone know his address by chance?
245 E. 40th St., Apt. 20C, NY, NY 10016
