Hi guys, Just a quick update in terms of Marketplace thread edits. As you can imagine, they take a lot of time, especially when there can be hundreds a day. We even get thread edit requests multiple times for the same thread in one day! From now on, thread edits ARE permitted, but we are charging you $30 for the privilege. You can choose to close your old thread and open up another one, but you will have to go through the review process again, it's your call. This is the thread edit process: To have an edit made, the basic information has to stay essentially the same. Any new services you want to add or big changes in your offer must be submitted in a new thread. We will check the new content against the old post to make sure you are still offering the same service that was reviewed. You can change the cost of the service you're providing but any price differences must be less than a 30% increase or we will ask to review the service again. PM either @Apricot or @WilhelmScream with the request, including basic details of the changes you want made. We'll check this and reply with details on how to pay the edit fee. Provide the updated BBCode for the whole first post. We won't go through posts reformatting or inserting information because this causes errors and confusion. You need to provide the code for the entire first post so that we can simply replace the old content. The best way to provide the BBCode is by using pastebin to save the code. You can then send me the pastebin link which lets me copy the BBCode without any formatting errors. You then need to PM me (Apricot) with the following information: Thread Link Paypal Transaction ID Paypal email address (yours, not ours) Pastebin link for the BBCode Title change information (if needed) Your new title MUST be under 80 characters or it will be cut short! Once we've verified the payment (can sometimes take up to 48 hours), I'll make the changes and you'll be notified immediately. PLEASE MAKE SURE that you check your thread edits and they are correct BEFORE you send them to us, otherwise you may be charged again. Send ONE PM only as begging or contacting multiple times with "Plsszzz help nowww urgent!!!!11one" will just push you to the back of the queue. If you haven't had a response in 3 working days, only then should you send another PM to check. If you're stuck with BBCode, here's a quick guide: You can check the new BBCode by going through the process for submitting a new thread. On the tool bar above the entry field, there's a button with a page and a spanner on it, outlined in the screenshot here: If you hover over that, you'll see the message "Use BBCode Editor" pop up. If you click this button, it will toggle between the wysiwyg editor and the BBCode editor. You can press the preview button to check how the post renders as many times as you like until you're happy. If you need more information here are tutorials on BBCode. http://www.bbcode.org/ Once the post looks the way you want, click the "Use BBCode Editor" button, then select and copy all the BBCode in the light box. Paste this into a new pastebin page and then send me the link. (make sure you cancel the thread submission at that point) That way, you'll be in full control of the changes. If you want the title to be changed, put this in the PM itself. Please make sure the new title is under 80 characters. You can of course use the Hot Deals Section for temporary sales. That is all.
