June 28, 2021 - The Updated Marketplace Rules Can Be Found Here: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/the-black-hat-world-marketplace-rules.1295700/

Hi guys,

Just a quick update in terms of Marketplace thread edits. As you can imagine, they take a lot of time, especially when there can be hundreds a day. We even get thread edit requests multiple times for the same thread in one day! From now on, thread edits ARE permitted, but we are charging you $30 for the privilege. You can choose to close your old thread and open up another one, but you will have to go through the review process again, it's your call.

The process to edit a thread is simple and easy;

To have an edit made, the basic information has to stay essentially the same. Any new services you want to add or big changes in your offer must be submitted in a new thread. We will check the new content against the old post to make sure you are still offering the same service that was initially reviewed.

Once you have paid the thread edit fee, you will need to include the following information in your message to support;

  • Thread Link
  • PayPal Transaction ID
  • The email address with which you have used to pay via PayPal
  • Title change information (if needed) (your new title MUST be under 80 characters or it will be cut short!)
  • Not forgetting your Pastebin link

Once we've verified the payment (can sometimes take up to 48 hours), I'll make the changes and you'll be notified immediately.

PLEASE MAKE SURE that you check your thread edits and they are correct BEFORE you send them to us, otherwise you may be charged again. Send ONE support ticket only as begging or contacting multiple times with "Plsszzz help nowww urgent!!!!11one" will just push you to the back of the queue. If you haven't had a response in 3 working days, only then should you send another ticket to check.

If you're stuck with BBCode, take a look at our guide.

If you need more information, then you'll find additional tutorials on BBCode here; http://www.bbcode.org/

You can of course use the Hot Deals Section for temporary sales.

Thanks Mr. A!

I really don't mind paying as we know it takes time to change threads, and time is... yeah we get it :)

For me, I sometimes want to have a little rebrand, or update the prices and info in my BST.

So glad this has been changed. :) Good times.

Thank Christ for that! I just seen this no thread edit rule recently and it left a nasty taste in my mouth.. the reason being that sellers sometimes spend 1000s building up a thread so to have to start again then just for an edit would be a nightmare.. Good solution guys, kudos!

Been two days, still waiting for my thread edit.

Thanks Mr.Apricot! :) I never mind paying for re-Edit thread.
But good decision guys :)

Great that this is added. Retaining customers in the same thread is what every marketer looks forward too and opening up a new thread didnt seem a proper solution.

The aim of the update is to allow minor changes.

We appreciate that great effort goes into building up a thread but we want full transparency for the buyer as well. For example I could sell SEO services for $100 get great reviews like "fantastic value for money" if I then bump the price to $10,000 should I keep those value for money reviews?

The idea here is to allow changes where it's typo's or new payment methods / small price increases. We won't accept major changes where the new service doesn't fairly reflect the service originally submitted. In this case a new thread would be required.

Each change will be added to an edit log linked at the bottom of your original post to a post in your thread.

Paid on 17th February and thread is still not updated. Asked if I can reserve the fees paid already for another thread, since the change wasn't made, was denied as I was told the change was made but it wasn't. Reminded again on 21st to make the changes, still not done. Hence I am posting here after 2 weeks of making payment. Please get back to me.

This thread is for marketplace thread edits - you can PM me with your request and I can advise you on that. Otherwise, post it as a new thread.

Can someone tell me how to edit my journey thread?

You are posting in the wrong place - this thread is about marketplace. If you want to edit your journey thread you are better posting in that thread and requesting attention of a mod/admin. You could also PM mod/admin as well but only do this once and be patient - response could take several days minimum....

Thanks for the discussion and feedback, both here and via pm and support.blackhatworld.com This suggestion thread has been accepted into the forum and significantly used, it's now added as part of the marketplace rules .

Thread closed.
