Marketing Help - how would you..?

How would you promote a membership site? The content is whitehat IM info. There's a 2 weeks free trial. Traffic source from all countries welcomed. Extreme blackhat methods are ok. As long as they become paid up subscribers after the trial.

Been promoting this via CL and had no success... any help will be appreciated!

Have you tried the obvious forums like Warriorforum, and or Digital Point?

I'm not saying that CL won't work, but your are trying to sell stuff to mostly internet savvy people, you need to promote where they hang out and converse.

I just can't think of other ways besides forum marketing I guess...

And I haven't had success doing it that way yet.
