Marketing an App

Hi Everyone, I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction on updated methods to market Apps? I'm fairly inexperienced in this department and thought it would be a good idea to see if anyone knows how to get an app out into the marketplace fast and thoroughly. BH methods would be considered too. I'm not sure this is the right section but any advice would be appreciated. Its such a knowledgeable community here, I get lost reading BHW for days on end! Long time fan to be sure. Thank you again for any help or advice in getting this app into the public eye.

i have purchased domain name apps.gallery ...if u want we can go for joint venture...
i also have no idea thou how to do it..but we both will surely learn a lot..

If the app is truly offering good value, I would use twitter. Twitter traffic converts extremely well for apps because these mobile users don't have to go far out of their way to download it.

In your shoes, I would create a huge twitter army, acquire a bunch of niche related followers, then pretty much promote the app on auto pilot.
