I am made this thread to discuss ideas which can get a TV show site off of the ground. By TV show site I mean embedding or link tv show episodes from video hosts to your site.
I have previous experience with these types of sites, but I always relied on referral links mainly from sidereel.com. Now sites like sidereel are not anything like they used to be, so relying on referrals will not work. I am trying to figure out ideas on how to market it. I doubt that an ad company will allow me to post banner ads link to a tv show site, but perhaps a pop-under type campaign might work. With pop-unders, ad companies normally have lower standards for what sites they allow to be advertised, but at the same time it is pretty costly. I have very little experience with marketing/ advertising. Anyone mind helping me out and hinting at some more cost efficient ways to market a tv show site?
