Market Samurai - where does it's backlink count come from?

Does anyone know where MS gets it's backlink count from?

It shows me an increase in backlinks over the last couple of days.

However, I do not see any change in Google's Webmaster Tools (GWT) or Yahoo! Site Explorer (YSE) counts.

I recently created an RSS feed of my backlinks and have been trying to determine if it worked or not. MS seems to be telling me that it DID work, but I'm curious where it is getting it's count from.

I think that the data comes from Yahoo Site Explorer. YSE is undergoing an update (you can check around BHW for a number of discussions about all the wild fluctuations), so I wouldn't put too much faith in the numbers right now.
