i think i found myself a niche thru market samurai
cant find a crack for MNF, LOL
but im still doubting whether will i be able to hit first page on that niche

EXACT searches: bout 80-350
PHRASE searches: 300-700
SEOTCR: 0-200%
with quotes: 10 000 - 60 000 searches
allintitle: bout 25 000 searches

problem arises when you get high searches but low SEOTCR, and some other combinations which make me hard to come to a decision.

and some of the first page does not even have keyworded domain in it, got populated by cnet reviews and some wikipedia, if so, can we outrank them if we have a keyworded domain?

to all keyword research gurus out there, how do you actually determine a keyword is worth ranking for?
what are the ranges that you use to guide you?
let's help each other to determine what are the proper guidelines, it doesn't have to be perfect, but as a simple guideline

IMHO you have a great keyword right there.

I have a very similar keyword on one of my sites and I'm outranking other sites such as Amazon and Zappos. Their results are very deep link pages with no backlinks whatsoever.

I say go for it!

on what basis do you feel that i should go for this keyword?
is SEOTCR, SEOC, or even SEOTC important to be considered?
what is the guideline that you use normally to determine your decision making?

and i found out that with different matches, your AWCPC changes

I just go after keywords that are searched more than 15000 / month and have less than 100.000 competing pages (always in "Exact")

For competition: I only analyze the first 10 and I usually only look at BLP. If they have less than a couple dozen, then you can almost always out-rank them with good on-page and off-page SEO.

Go for a keyword domain, set a few pages/posts of semi-good content with your keyword every 100 words or so and then slowly start building backlinks.

i have bought a domain for it
i believe i can outrank them, and i must outrank them

and imma buy another domain with similar keywords for split testing
see which one can rank first

wish me luck dude
Cheeers~

try to reconfirm with backlinkwatch.com
or use yahoo site explorer
and then you determine whether to rank for it or not
im not pro with MS yet, hope somebody with better knowledge of it helps

HELP!!

I think that maybe the 21.000 backlinks are for the domain, not the page.

MS BLP number is not including backlinks from the same domain
