Market Samurai question

When I check my rankings with rank tracker it shows my site is #11 for my keyword. But when I look at the SEO competition for the same
keyword, it is showing my site at #7. How can they be that far off? Especially when it's the same tool.

I think it could be that the tool may use different data centers for the two different modules. I notice the same kind of thing from time to time.

It shows your site at $7? I thought we were talking about ranks, not money.

shezboy has a very good idea, 2 data centers is quite possible.

Have you tried it with any other tool?

silly question, but are you logged into a google account?

Edit: Not sure how I misread the original post. my bad. The Data Center idea sounds plausable.

I checked even while logged in and not (with a cache/cookie/history cleaning)

Rank tracker has fresh and history positions, they may differ from SEO competition results.

Yeah, the new update seemed to have fixed the problem.

I've had problems for a week or so with Market samurai, it's not checking rankings. So what you have in the results is the old ranking, just not updating.

When they released the last update, all worked fine and faster for the first day, and then 1 or 2 days later it's not checking rankings again...

Same here, wont update google ranking for some reason... just hangs :/ Good to know that i'm not only one cause i was afraid that my sites were deindexed and thats why it wont fetch any results haha

New update rolled out to fix it. It was an issue with their new cloud system. They switched back to the Legacy Rank Tracker until it's been fixed.
